Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system in which damage caused by a relay attack can be suppressed effectively by determining whether or not the relay attack is performed by providing such a structure as to correct an error of a clock between a key that a legal owner has and a vehicle from a signal transmitted from the vehicle to the key in a smart key system.SOLUTION: From a polling signal transmitted from a vehicle to a smart key, a clock frequency of a clock that the vehicle includes is detected at a side of the smart key, and an identification signal of the smart key is returned as a signal of a predetermined frequency by a vehicle-side clock. In the vehicle, the received identification signal is collated and it is also determined whether a frequency of the identification signal is a proper value in a view from the vehicle-side clock. Only when a determination result is positive, vehicle door unlocking or engine starting is allowed. In the case that a relay attack is performed, a repeater of a criminal is interposed, and thereby the vehicle-side clock cannot be generated appropriately at a key side.
