Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding member for fixing devices capable of suppressing an increase in a friction coefficient even when being continuously used.SOLUTION: The sliding member for fixing devices includes at least a fluororesin layer 112 that has a sliding surface 112A, and satisfies the following conditions (1) and (2): (1) the dotted recesses exhibit an array pattern that is formed by displacing at least a part or whole of central points of the basic arrays in a grid array from the grid array in which basic arrays are contiguous, the basic arrays each including a basic grid comprising four grid points and having one side parallel to a sliding direction; and (2) at least one of the recesses is placed over an entire width of the sliding surface, when the sliding surface is viewed along the sliding direction.
