Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that visibility becomes poor when loading a liquid cartridge to a cartridge holder.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a cartridge holder unit 104 situated on the front right side of the apparatus body 101, functioning as a main tank holder to which the ink cartridge 103 is freely attachably/detachably loaded. The cartridge holder unit 104 includes an opening 104a obliquely opening upward ahead of the apparatus body 1. When loading the ink cartridge 103 to the cartridge holder unit 104 of the apparatus body 101, the cartridge 103 is inserted and loaded into the cartridge holder unit 104 from the upper oblique direction in front of the apparatus body 101.
