Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission and reception module that can cope with a plurality of frequency bands, and also can reduce its cost.SOLUTION: A transmission and reception module is connected with first and second antennas, can use a first radio communication network having a first uplink frequency band and a first downlink frequency band and a second radio communication network having a second uplink frequency band and a second downlink frequency band, and comprises: an uplink band pass filter having a first intermediate frequency band; a downlink band pass filter having a second intermediate frequency band; an uplink frequency conversion unit for converting the first intermediate frequency band into the first and second uplink frequency bands; and a downlink frequency conversion unit for converting the first and second downlink frequency bands into the second intermediate frequency band. The transmission and reception module transmits a signal to the first antenna via the uplink band pass filter and the uplink frequency conversion unit at the time of signal transmission, and receives a signal from the second antenna via the downlink frequency conversion unit and the downlink band pass filter at the time of signal reception. |
