Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable more accurate identification of a match between peripheral vehicles in inter-vehicle communication with a host vehicle and peripheral vehicles detected by an autonomous sensor of the host vehicle.SOLUTION: An image recognition unit 114 detects status of direction indicators, brake lamps, and lane crossing of each peripheral vehicle from peripheral images of the host vehicle captured by a camera 6 and stores the information in an autonomous sensor information storage unit 117. A vehicle information receiver unit 112 receives vehicle information on the status of direction indicators, brake lamps, and lane crossing transmitted from each peripheral vehicle via inter-vehicle communication and stores the same in a received information storage unit 113. A peripheral information integration unit 118 determines whether or not the peripheral vehicles detected by an autonomous sensor matches the peripheral vehicles with which the host vehicle is in inter-vehicle communication by determining whether or not the information stored in the autonomous sensor information storage unit 117 matches the information stored in the received information storage unit 113.
