Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical gas sensor that is small-sized and inexpensive.SOLUTION: An optical gas sensor 1 includes an incident side optical fiber 20, a light receiving side optical fiber 30, and a gas detection part 10 with an optical system formed. The gas detection part 10 includes a small-sized optical bench 11, and the small-sized optical bench 11 is formed integrally with an incident side optical fiber fixing part 14 for fixing the incident side optical fiber 20, and a light receiving side optical fiber fixing part 15 for fixing the light receiving side optical fiber 30. The small-sized optical bench 11 is formed by photolithography. The optical system can be configured only by fixing the incident side optical fiber 20 to the incident side optical fiber fixing part 14, and the light receiving side optical fiber 30 to the light receiving side optical fiber fixing part 15, respectively, eliminating the need of adjustment. An adjustment mechanism of the optical system is not needed, and the gas detection part can be made small-sized. Since a small-sized optical bench 11 can be subjected to mass production, the optical gas sensor 1 can be manufactured at low cost.
