Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel isocyanurate compound whose usage is anticipated as a raw material of thermosetting resins, photocurable resins and thermoplastic resins, and whose rigid triazine skeleton is incorporated in polymer molecules to thereby allow improvements in mechanical strength, dimensional stability, heat resistance, chemical resistance, hydrolysis resistance, weather resistance (light resistance), flame retardancy, electric properties and the like of resins.SOLUTION: A compound having an oxetane ring is represented by the chemical formula, has a cyclic ether structure which is a saturated 4-membered ring and has one oxygen atom, and is better in cationic polymerizablity than epoxy compounds, which have a similar 3-membered ring. |
