PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door mirror device for a vehicle, which is capable of preventing lateral backlash of a garnish with respect to a housing for holding a mirror, with a simple structure.SOLUTION: In a door mirror device for a vehicle, an engaging groove 12 to be engaged with an edge part 17' of an upper side which extends along a peripheral edge part 11 in the lateral direction and extends in the lateral direction of a garnish 7, is formed in the peripheral edge part 11 extending in the lateral direction of the upper side of a housing 6 for holding a mirror. In the engaging groove 12, at least two partition walls 13 for blocking the engaging groove 12 are spaced from each other in the extending direction. In the edge part 17' of the upper side of the garnish 7, a triangular projected part 18 is formed, which enters the engaging groove 12 between the partition wall 13 and the partition wall 13 and has a lateral end face 18a engaged with the wall surfaces 13a of the partition wall 13 from the lateral direction, on the edge part 17' of the upper part side of the garnish. The lower side of the garnish 7 is fixed to the lower side of the housing 6.
