Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, by a cold spray method, a rare earth magnet compact improved in peeling of deposits due to a residual strain and having excellent magnetic characteristics.SOLUTION: In a rare earth magnet compact, by a cold spray method, non-magnetic metal particles having an elastoplastic ratio of 50% or less, as well as rare earth magnet particles, are added, to reduce a residual strain and/or a repulsive force. In a solidification formation process, deposits are not peeled off to provide a compact having a thick film, and a theoretical density of 80% or more is achieved.
