Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductive rubber composition for a power cable, which has high conductivity and excellent compression set characteristics, and to provide a power cable and a cable connection part using such a composition.SOLUTION: The semiconductive rubber composition for a power cable contains 50-100 parts by mass of a conductive carbon black and 0.5-15.0 parts by mass of a tetrapod-like zinc oxide formed of a needle-like single crystal with respect to 100 parts by mass of an ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer. The power cable and the cable connection part each include a semiconductive layer made of such a semiconductive rubber composition.
