Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular headlamp that can be downsized in which a length direction of a driving mechanism can be in an axial direction of a rotation shaft and each of members to be arranged in a lamp chamber is arranged hardly interfering with the driving mechanism, and moreover arrangement of a connection member of a wire type is done away with as a transmission part.SOLUTION: A vehicular headlamp includes a light source 11b for emitting light, a movable shade 24 rotatably supported with a rotation shaft 23 as a fulcrum between a first position for shielding a part of the light emitted from the light source and a second position with a reduced shielding amount, a driving mechanism 16 which has a coil body 18 and an output shaft 19 which moves to a shaft direction by power conducting condition to the coil body and rotates the movable shade, and a transmission part 25 for transmitting driving force of the driving mechanism to the movable shade. The shaft direction of the rotation shaft and the shaft direction of the output shaft are set to be in the same direction, and on the output shaft, there is provided a connection part 20 including a cam part 21 on which the transmission part is connected in free sliding and which rotates the movable shade by changing a position of the transmission part in accordance with the moved position of the output shaft.
