Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach/detach an insulation cover for an electric wire.SOLUTION: FIGURE (a) shows a status of a cover 1 before it is mounted to a distribution line L. By engaging hook-shaped tip ends of a first stopper 15 and a second stopper 16 with each other against an elastic force of an elastically deformable cylindrical portion 11, end parts 13a and 13b go away from each other so as to make it easy to insert the distribution line L into the cover 1. FIGURE (b) shows a status of the cover 1 mounted to the distribution line L. By an adhesive portion 18 inside the cover 1 being fastened at the upper portion of the distribution line L, the cover 1 becomes unable to come off from the distribution line L unless human power is applied to the cover 1. FIGURE (c) shows a status in which the cover 1 is being moved along the distribution line L. By detaching the adhesive portion 18 inside the cover 1 from the upper portion of the distribution line L, the cover 1 can be shifted. By lifting the cover 1 so that the distribution line L comes in contact therewith, the end parts 13a and 13b go away from each other against the elastic force of the cylindrical portion 11, thus the cover 1 can be dismounted from the distribution line L.
