Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission device that makes it possible to transmit data while confirming the content of the data.SOLUTION: A data transmission device comprises a display unit 30 that displays reproduced data. The data transmission device further comprises a VIDEO control unit 14 that reproduces data to display it on the display unit 30, and controls data transmission to a data reception device as a data transmission destination. The data transmission device further comprises a wireless control unit 18 that controls wireless communication with the data reception device. When the wireless control unit 18 is wirelessly connected to the data reception device during reproduction of data, the VIDEO control unit 14 transmits the data to the data reception device via the wireless control unit 18.
