Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that sufficient accuracy is not obtained in fixing force estimation because of no consideration taken into account a hammering sound frequency change due to a hitting method, dispersion in a hammering sound frequency or a responce due to a position of an object, and the like in a frequency analysis method for a hammering sound when a plate-like member fixed with elastic force is hit with a hammer or in a detecting method for a responce when the plate-like member is vibrated.SOLUTION: A plurality of hammering sounds are generated by applying hitting forces on a plurality of points on a member surface. Feature quantities are obtained from the plurality of hammering sounds and an averaged feature quantity is obtained by averaging the feature quantities. The fixing force of the plate-like member is estimated from the averaged feature quantity using a correlation between a fixing force of the plate-like member and an averaged feature quantity.
