Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell protective material including a moisture proof film having a water vapor permeability of less than 0.1 [g/mday], which has no deterioration in moisture-proofing properties for a long period of time, prevents generation of delamination, achieves a solar cell protective material excellent in flexibility and moisture-proofing properties, prevents deterioration in solar cell performance, and is effective in improvement of durability of a solar cell.SOLUTION: A solar cell protective material is obtained by laminating at least a fluorine-based resin film, an adhesive layer, and a moisture proof film which has an inorganic film on at least one surface of a base material and has a water vapor permeability of less than 0.1 [g/mday]. A ratio (B/A) of a maximum width B of protective material constituent layers other than the fluorine-based resin film relative to a width (A) of the fluorine-based resin film is less than 1.
