Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector capable of surely preventing deflection of an optical fiber even when resistance when introducing the optical fiber to a connector body is large.SOLUTION: An optical connector 1 has a fiber guide 9 for guiding an optical fiber 2 to a connector body 3. The fiber guide 9 comprises a front side guide member 14 and a rear side guide member 15 assembled to the front side guide member 14. The front side guide member 14 includes a fiber insertion hole 16 for inserting the optical fiber 2, and a plurality of housing space parts 17 formed to be communicated with the fiber insertion hole 16 around the fiber insertion hole 16. The rear side guide member 15 has a plurality of wall parts 20 which is formed so as to extend from a base part 19 and is housable in the respective housing space parts 17 of the front side guide member 14. The respective wall parts 20 form a fiber insertion space part 21 for inserting the optical fiber 2.
