Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine capable of suppressing deterioration of performance of a lubricant deterioration sensor capable of instantaneously specifying a type and an amount of contaminant in lubricant.SOLUTION: An industrial robot includes: an industrial robot body: lubricant 131a for reducing friction to be generated at a movable part of the industrial robot body; and a lubricant deterioration sensor 139b which is installed in the industrial robot body to detect deterioration of the lubricant 131a. The lubricant deterioration sensor 139b includes: a white LED 72 which emits light; an RGB sensor 73 which detects color of the received light; and a gap formation member 60 in which a gap 60a for oil which is the gap for the lubricant 131a to infiltrate. The gap formation member 60 transmits the light to be emitted by the white LED 72, the gap 60a for oil is arranged on an optical path from the white LED 72 to the RGB sensor 73, and the lubricant 131a does not contain molybdenum as an additive agent.
