Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel insect repellent resin composition which is excellent in light resistance and retainability of pyrethroid compound, and a use thereof.SOLUTION: The resin composition includes a pyrethroid compound and an ultraviolet absorber which are contained in a thermoplastic resin including two or more resins, one of the resins being ethylene/methylene methacrylate copolymer resin. Relative to 100 pts.wt. of other resins, the content of the ethylene/methyl methacrylate copolymer is preferably 5 pts.wt. or more and 45 pts.wt. or less. The pyrethroid compound is preferably permethrin, and the ultraviolet absorber is preferably based on benzotriazole.
