Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantaneously determination a degree of contamination and viscosity of an engine oil.SOLUTION: An oil checker 1 includes: a container body 2 having an oil injection opening 21 in an upper part; a narrowed part 3 provided in a lower part of the container body 2 integrally therewith for providing an oil path in a narrowed state; and a discharge part 4 provided in a lower part of the narrowed part 3 for discharging an oil. The container body 2 and the narrowed part 3 are provided entirely in a flat shape in a top view. The container body 2 is provided with: contamination degree determining rings 7 on a front surface side as a contamination degree determining means for determining the contamination degree of the oil; and a light source 9 on a back surface side. The narrowed part 3 is provided with a viscosity level determining scale 8 as a viscosity level determining means for determining an oil viscosity level.
