Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purification apparatus capable of more sanitarily keeping its inside and capable of providing more-safety drinking water.SOLUTION: The water purification apparatus 1 includes: a purification unit 20 for generating purified water by purifying raw water; an ozone generation unit 30 for generating an ozone gas containing a bactericidal component; a water passing mode discharging the purified water generated by the purification unit 20; and a control unit 50 switching the first and second sterilization modes for sterilizing the inside of the apparatus by the ozone gas generated by the ozone generation unit 30. In the first and second sterilization modes, at least one condition of the concentration, time and frequency of sterilization is different from each other.
