Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edge body 3, even if it has a hollow edge part 32 capable of deforming for prevention against a finger pinch with a finger pinch preventing function, which enhances deformation rigidity of the whole soft member without losing the original function of the edge body 3 and secures suitable deformability against local deformation such as a finger pinch.SOLUTION: A hollow edge part 32 projected and formed in a deformable state at a hard fitting base 31 is divided into an inner edge part 32a and an outer edge part 32b which are independently hollows apart opposite each other across a blank area part 323 to deform independently, with the blank area part 323 constructed as being a non-transmission area not transmitting deformation of one of the edge parts to the other when one of the edge parts is deformed toward the blank area part 323.
