Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit that can prevent temperature from rising in a machine room.SOLUTION: An outdoor unit includes: a compressor 17; a condenser 22; a condenser fan 21; a control box 23; a machine room 11; and a fan chamber 12. The control box 23 sets a first set temperature for starting the operation of the condenser fan 21, and a second set temperature for finishing the operation of the condenser 21. With the operation of the condenser 17 stopped, and a cooling operation or heating operation being stopped, the operation of the condenser fan 21 is started when the temperature inside the machine room 11 or the fan chamber 12 is at the first temperature or higher, and the operation of the condenser fan 21 is finished when the temperature inside the machine room 11 or the fan chamber 12 is at the second temperature or higher.
