Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous surface-treating agent which improves water repellency of a surface that consists of each material of a coating film, resin, metal, ceramics, paper, wood, cloth, etc., gives gloss and excellent slippage, is excellent in storage stability and workability, and is especially for processing surfaces of a vehicle, a building, etc.SOLUTION: The aqueous surface-treating agent contains 0.05-0.5 wt.% of silicone resin and a both terminal hydroxy group-containing silicone oil. The content ratio of the both terminal hydroxy group-containing silicone oil is preferably 0.1-3.0 wt.%. In addition, a dimethyl silicone oil and an ethanol are added for the improvement of workability and the improvement of storage stability, respectively.
