Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a cell culture vessel that can decrease the adhesion of a foreign matter to the bottom or the like of a container, and can prevent the generation of a bubble when a functionality base is fixed.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method is for a cell culture vessel that includes a container section that accommodates a cell and a medium, wherein the container section includes at least: a container body member 103; and a functionality base 140 including at least: an adhesive layer 503 disposed on the bottom of the container body member 103; a base material layer 502 arranged on the adhesive layer 503; and a functionality organic compound layer 501 arranged on the base material layer 502, wherein the functionality base 140 is floated on a liquid L in a state the adhesive layer 503 is turned to the upper side, to the container body member 103 in which the side that accommodates a cell and a medium is turned to the lower side, the functionality base 140 is brought up by the liquid L, and thereby the container body member 103 and the functionality base 140 are connected.
