Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge control apparatus with which it is possible to shorten a charge time of a battery for vehicle drive.SOLUTION: At a charge control apparatus 1 of a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle 10, when a result of detection by a BMU 35 becomes a preset upper limit value v1 during charging through constant current charging, a control part 90 checks whether a temperature of a battery 30 is lower than a predetermined temperature on the basis of the result of the detection by the BMU 35. Then, when having found that the temperature of the battery 30 is equal to or higher than the predetermined temperature, the control part 90 controls a charge device to charge the battery 30 through constant voltage charging. When having found that the temperature of the battery 30 is lower than the predetermined temperature, the control part 90 controls a discharge circuit 110 to perform predetermined discharging to thereby perform discharge processing and controls the charge device to charge the battery 30 through constant current charging after the discharge processing is finished. |
