Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio signal transmission device able to reduce the capacities of audio signals other than a reference audio signal, having the reference audio signal as a reference, before the compression of the audio signals of a multi-channel, thereby improving compression efficiency and reducing time, and able to obtain 1% to 3% compression efficiency with lossless compression as a reference, and to provide a method therefor.SOLUTION: The audio signal transmission device comprises: an extraction part that extracts audio signals from a plurality of microphones; a power calculation part that calculates the powers of the audio signals of the multi-channel and sets one of the audio signals of the multi-channel as a reference audio signal; a synchronization part that adjusts the synchronization of the audio signals other than the reference audio signal based on the reference audio signal; a signal generation part that offsets the reference audio signal from the audio signals other than the reference audio signal adjusted in synchronization and thereby generates corresponding extraction signals; and a signal compression part that compresses the reference audio signals and the corresponding extraction signals; and a transmission part that transmits the compressed reference audio signal and the corresponding extraction signals.
