Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting agent for a target polynucleotide that can more easily and practically detect the presence/absence of a hybridized product.SOLUTION: The detecting agent 10 includes at least one oligonucleotide probe 4 related beforehand to one target polynucleotide, fixedly on a solid phase carrier 2 with probe identification information including pattern information for identifying the oligonucleotide probe 4. Probe identification information is added to a pattern for fixing the oligonucleotide probe 4. A collation operation of the position of the probe producing the hybridized product is thereby dispensed with.
