Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attaching device capable of strongly attaching building hardware to a square bar such as a column in a wooden building.SOLUTION: The attaching device of building hardware includes a first shaft member (11a) to be inserted to a first insertion hole (21) passing through the square bar in an X axis direction and a second shaft member (11b) to be inserted to a second insertion hole (22) passing through the square bar in a Y axis direction, related to the X axis and the Y axis that pass through a center axis Z of the square bar and are orthogonal to each other. Both shaft members (11a, 11b) have connection means (14) positioned at an intersection hole part (23) of both insertion holes (21, 22) and locked immovably in the X axis direction and the Y axis direction with each other, and support means (18) supported by a hole wall of both insertion holes (21, 22) facing in at least one of two directions (Z1, Z2) along the center axis Z. Attaching means (17) capable of attaching building hardware (26) is provided on at least one of shaft ends of the first shaft member (11a) and the second shaft member (11b) facing openings of both insertion holes (21, 22) opened on a side face of the square bar.
