Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to set a route without setting any destination.SOLUTION: The information terminal includes a storage unit 11 for storing map data 11a relating to a road map and template data 11b including a route shape and outer peripheral length relating to the template of the route. Also, the user is able to input the setting of the moving time of a user's desired route via an input operation unit 14 to a screen displayed at a display unit 12. Then, a route-shaped template is enlarged or reduced so as to be arranged on the road map on the basis of the outer peripheral length stored in the template data 11b and the moving time set by the user, and the route is set on the basis of the route shape of the template arranged on the road map.
