Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film packaging apparatus able to efficiently and automatically package an article to be packaged, which is an annular member such as a bearing retainer, and able to also easily unseal the packaged article, and to provide a film package body.SOLUTION: The film packaging apparatus comprises: a packaging jig 40 held so as to be supportable by itself while many retainers 14, being annular members, are fitted into a pillar-like hold member 46; a film molding device 32 located above a belt conveyor 34 for conveying the packaging jig 40 and configured to place heat shrinkable film 12 over each retainer 14; a welding device 50 configured to weld an opening part of the heat shrinkable film 12 placed over the retainer 14; a cutting member 53 configured to separate the heat shrinkable film 12 placed over each retainer 14; a perforating blade 56 configured to form an unsealing perforation line 16 in the heat shrinkable film 12 along the longitudinal direction of the hold member 46; and a heat-shrinking device 60 configured to heat and shrink the welded and cut heat shrinkable film 12.
