Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an accuracy of the opening/closing determination of an opening of an apparatus.SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: an opening and closing mechanism that opens and closes the opening of the apparatus; a first movable body that moves in response to opening and closing of the opening operated by the opening and closing mechanism; a movement detecting part that detects a movement amount of the first movable body; a determination part that determines whether the opening is closed on the basis of the detected movement amount; a second movable body that is arranged in the apparatus and is movable; and a movement transmitting mechanism that moves the first movable body in response to the movement of the second movable body while the opening is closed, and that prevents the first movable body from moving in response to the movement of the second movable body while the opening is opened.
