Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbable article which quickly absorbs excreted liquid and hardly causes liquid returning.SOLUTION: The absorbable article 1 includes an absorber 4 and a surface sheet 2 which is disposed in the absorber 4 on the side opposite to the skin. The surface sheet 2 is configured to include fiber whose contact angle with water is 90-110°, and has a plurality of protrusions 21 which protrude toward the skin of a wearer and a plurality of recesses 22 neighboring to the protrusions 21. The protrusions 21 have lower fiber density than the recesses 22.
