Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle that inexpensively achieves a mechanism of warning a driver who intends to get out of the vehicle although the power source condition of the vehicle is in a READY-ON state (traveling enabled state).SOLUTION: An ECU 70 executes a ripple temperature elevation control to control a boost converter 22 to generate a ripple current in a secondary battery 10 for elevating the temperature of the secondary battery 10. A getting-out motion detection unit 72 detects a predetermined motion indicating the intention of a driver to get out the vehicle. The ECU 70 executes the ripple temperature elevation control when the predetermined motion is detected by the getting-out motion detection unit 72 although the power source condition of the vehicle is in a READY-ON state. |
