Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for optimizing the process of construction work and a method for optimizing the process of construction work, which are capable of automatically generating a combination pattern of DFCs, automatically converting contents of DFCs into a database for site process simulation, and making a suitable process plan in a short time.SOLUTION: A process optimizing system 1 includes pattern generation means 14, changing means 16, calculation means 18, and extraction means 20. The pattern generation means 14 generates patterns obtained by combining execution/non-execution of DFCs. The changing means 16 automatically changes contents of a construction condition database 10 corresponding to changed contents of DFCs. On the basis of the construction condition database 10 after the change, the calculation means 18 calculates costs per pattern. The extraction means 20 extracts a pattern for the lowest cost from calculated results.
