Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-lock nut usable for fastening again, by loosening when necessary, when using an exclusive tool capable of surely preventing looseness of the nut and capable of laying down a lock piece.SOLUTION: Recessed parts (13) are formed on the peripheral edge of a screw hole (12) of a nut seat surface (11). The lock piece (14) rises on the fastening direction (A) side of the recessed part, and is also stored in an attitude of projecting its tip from the recessed part. An elastic member (15) for pressing the lock piece toward the fastening direction is incorporated into the recessed part. When fastening the nut, the lock piece is rocked in the opposite direction (B) of the fastening direction with a rear end part as the center while elastically deforming the elastic member, and when completing fastening, the lock piece is returned from rocking by restoring force of the elastic member, and the nut is prevented from loosening when the tip of the lock piece competes with a fastening object surface.
