Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood hinge capable of preventing rusting between the hood hinge and a hood, a hood unit including those hood and hood hinge, and an assembly method for the hood unit.SOLUTION: There is provided a hood hinge 100 supporting a hood 108 of an engine room 106 of a vehicle 102 in an openable/closable state, the hood hinge 100 including: a bracket part 114 fixed to the engine room 106; and an arm part 116 which has a long-sized flat plate region 122 and is rotatably supported by the bracket part 114, and fastened to a lower surface 128 of the hood 108 in the flat plate region 122. The flat plate region 122 has hole parts 124a, 124b through which bolts 112a, 112b fastening the arm part 116 to the hood 108 are run, and seating face parts 126a, 126b which protrude toward the hood 108 at peripheries of the hole parts 124a, 124b to come into surface contact with the hood 108.
