Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce interference of a control signal.SOLUTION: A communication system has groups each including two or more adjacent base stations whose transmission/reception timing of radio signals are synchronized among respective base stations. The base station included in the group takes a role of either of a first base station or a second base station, and the first base station periodically transmits a predetermined downstream control signal by using a downlink radio resource that is assigned to the group and segmented at least according to a time. The base station playing a role of the first base station periodically transmits the predetermined downstream control signal, and the base station taking a role of the second base station assigns a radio resource to a radio terminal to control the terminal so as to perform radio communication with the own base station, when receiving an upstream control signal based on the downstream control signal transmitted by the first base station belonging to the same group from the radio terminal. |
