Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple processing method of radioactive substance containing soil with which the volume of soil to be under management can be reduced through on-site processing by separating the radioactive substance containing soil into soil of which the value of radioactivity is lower than or equal to a predetermined value and which can be reduced into the environment and soil of which the value of radioactivity exceeds the predetermined value and which should be under management.SOLUTION: A processing method of radioactive substance containing soil is provided with which the radioactive substance containing soil is classified, soil containing radioactivity lower than or equal to a predetermined level and having a large particle size is reduced into the environment and soil containing radioactivity exceeding the predetermined level and having a small particle size is under management, thereby reducing the volume of the radioactive substance containing soil to be under the management.
