Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical sheet, in which generation of an interference pattern during use can be suppressed even when a streaky rugged pattern that is a cutting trace by mirror finishing is transferred to the optical sheet.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an optical sheet includes: a transfer step of transferring a fine rugged pattern onto a long sheet by using a roll type die, which comprises a roll type aluminum base material subjected to mirror finishing on the outer circumferential surface thereof with a cutting tool and further subjected to anodic oxidation to form the fine rugged pattern, and in the steps, a streaky rugged pattern corresponding to cutting traces by the mirror finishing is also transferred onto the optical sheet; and a cutting step of cutting the optical sheet material in such a manner that one side 62a of the optical sheet is inclined at an angle of 0.2 to 45 degrees with respect to the extending direction of the streaky rugged pattern 46b.
