Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rust prevention method of reinforcing steel for autoclaved lightweight concrete which can significantly reduce pinhole generation in a rust preventive film by using a conventional rust preventive liquid tank as before and almost completely eliminating bubbles adhered to the reinforcing steel when forming the rust preventive film by immersing the reinforcing steel for autoclaved lightweight concrete in the rust preventive liquid.SOLUTION: A reinforcing steel mat 1 is swung in the vertical direction such that the reinforcing steel mat 1 for autoclaved lightweight concrete is immersed in a rust preventive liquid 4a, then lifted until the reinforcing steel on the top of the reinforcing steel mat (main reinforcement) is exposed from a liquid level of the rust preventive liquid 4a, and subsequently lowered to the original position; and then lifted from the rust preventive liquid 4a. Preferably, swinging in the vertical direction is performed 1-3 times. |
