Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required to start image formation when an image designated by a user is formed, in any of a plurality of image forming apparatuses.SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus 20A, when print data associated with an authenticated user are stored in the self-apparatus, a list indicating the print data is displayed on a touch screen of the image forming apparatus 20A. In contrast, in the image forming apparatus 20A, when the print data associated with the authenticated user are not stored in the self-apparatus, print data acquired from an image forming apparatus 20B that is set in index data associated with the user and stored in an index server 30 are displayed on the touch screen of the image forming apparatus 20A.
