Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catchment which can prevent breakage by a high-pressure cleaning fluid to be supplied during backwashing a filter layer.SOLUTION: The invented catchment has an upper wall 11 on which a plurality of orifices 27 are formed, and is equipped with a plastic passage block 10 in which passages 16 and 17 communicating with the orifices 27 are formed, a perforated plate 24 which is placed above the passage block 10, and an air injection unit 30 placed between the passage block 10 and the perforated plate 24. The filter layer 25 is washed by the upward flow of air supplied from the air injection unit 30.
