Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rapid setting bone cement which has long-term stability, is readily injectable, and provides a surgeon with optimal working time and a decreased overall set-time during a minimally invasive surgery.SOLUTION: A calcium phosphate-based composition includes at least one calcium phosphate-based inorganic compound, at least one reaction retarding agent, at least one binding agent and at least one sodium phosphate-based compound. The calcium phosphate-based cement includes a first powder component containing a stabilized dicalcium phosphate dihydrate containing magnesium of about 10 ppm to about 60 ppm, a second powder component containing the calcium phosphate-based inorganic compound except for the stabilized dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, and a third liquid component containing water.
