Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control reflection at an irradiation surface by controlling a polarization direction of emitted light and to reduce glare on the irradiation surface.SOLUTION: A light emitting module comprises: a light emitting element 1b; and a phosphor layer 1d that converts a wavelength of light irradiated from the light emitting element 1b while covering the light emitting element 1b. The light emitting module has a polarization control part 2 having metal nano-wires 2a which are arranged on a front face of the phosphor layer 1d in parallel with one another, reflect incident light when light having a polarization direction parallel with an arrangement direction thereof is made incident thereto and transmit the incident light when light having a polarization direction parallel with a width direction of the arrangement is made incident thereto.
