Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeposition paint composition, capable of suitably providing an electrodeposition film even on a coated object without chemical conversion coating, and providing a film having excellent corrosion resistance and film smoothness.SOLUTION: The electrodeposition paint composition includes a zirconium compound (A), an aminated resin (B), a hardener (C) and an organic acid (D). The organic acid (D) is at least one selected from the group consisting of alkane sulfonic acid, organic phosphonic acid, organic carboxylic acid, amino acid, aminocarboxylic acid, saccharic acid, and carboxyl-containing vinyl resin. The milliequivalent (MEQ(A)) of acid to resin solid content 100 g in the electrodeposition paint composition is 20-200, and pH of the electrodeposition paint composition is 2-6. |
