Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of electric connection by increasing a contact area of a conductor and a terminal at a portion crimped to a single core conductor of an electric wire, and decreasing electric resistance between the terminal and the electric wire.SOLUTION: In this method, a crimp terminal having two first and second electric wire connection parts 22, 23 with an approximate U-sectioned shape having a bottom plate part 21 and a pair of electric wire caulking pieces 22a, 23a is connected to an electric wire. When the electric wire is a single core electric wire 10A, each pair of electric wire caulking pieces 22a, 22b are bent inward and caulked to a single core conductor 11A, so as to crimp and fix a terminal 20 to a terminal part of the electric wire 10A. When the electric wire is a multi-core electric wire 10B comprising a multi-core twisted wire conductor 11B, a pair of electric wire caulking pieces 22a are bent inward and caulked to the multi-core conductor 10B. Also, a portion with coating 12 is set on the bottom plate part 21 of the second electric wire connection part 23, and a pair of electric wire caulking pieces 23a are bent inward and caulked to the portion with the coating 12, so as to crimp and fix the terminal 20 to the terminal part of the electric wire 10B. |
