Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic door device capable of engaging a lock in normal use, and of surely preventing lock engagement due to mischief.SOLUTION: A door panel 12 closing a doorway 10 of a toilet booth 2 is opened with the operation of an external switch of an external operation and guide device 16 provided outside the toilet booth 2. In a state that the door panel 12 is opened, with the operation of an internal switch of an internal operation and guide device 30 provided inside the toilet booth 2, the door panel 12 is closed and locked. An action detecting sensor 38 has a detection area 39 near the doorway 10. In the state that the door panel 12 is opened, with the operation of the internal switch according to the detection result of the action detecting sensor 38, the door panel 12 is kept at least in an unlocked condition.
