Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of preventing a positional gap and deflection of an optical sheet even when the lighting device is used in a raised state, a liquid crystal display device having the lighting device, and electronic equipment having the liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device 100, engagement sections 96 wherein projection sections 326 projected from a second frame 30 are fitted into holes 181 formed in the optical sheet 180 and a first elasticity holding section 97 wherein a first elastic member 91 arranged on the second frame 30 pushes the optical sheet 180 to a light guide plate 80 by means of elasticity are arranged at an upper side 180b side among outer edges of the optical sheet 180 in the lighting device 8. Further, a second elasticity holding section 98 wherein a second elastic member 92 arranged on the second frame 30 pushes the optical sheet 180 to the light guide plate 80 by means of elasticity is arranged at a lower side 180a side of the optical sheet 180 in the lighting device 8.
