Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long term preservable and stable pharmacological composition.SOLUTION: A stable water-insoluble complex of poorly soluble compounds molecularly dispersed in a water-insoluble ionic polymer is disclosed. The useful insoluble ionic polymer has a molecular weight greater than about 80,000 D and a glass transition temperature equal to or higher than about 50°C. The compound is microprecipitated in the ionic polymer in amorphous form. The complex significantly increases the bioavailability of poorly soluble therapeutically active compounds.
