Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which is chargeable and dischargeable at a large current suitable for a portable apparatus, an electric bicycle, a hybrid car, an electric vehicle, use for a household power storage facility, and the like, and is excellent in cycle stability.SOLUTION: A negative electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is arranged so that a negative electrode active material layer containing a lithium titanate is formed on a collector, where the collector is an aluminum foil having electrostatic capacitance of 50 μF/cmor more and 800 μF/cmor less.
